MEET YOUR EXPERT TRAINER
Hey, I’m Daphne Manhattan 👋
I’m an Australian-based, Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher Trainer (Yoga Alliance ERYT® & YACEP®) and Yoga Therapist, deeply knowledgeable in Restorative Yoga.
My yoga journey began at the age of 12 practising alongside my mother via a VHS tape in our lounge room. I've since studied over 1,000 hours of Yoga Therapy training centralised around trauma-informed yoga, meditation, compassion-focused therapy, and mental health.
My passion lies in bridging ancient practice with biomedical understanding. My work focuses on how yoga can serve as a therapeutic intervention for burnout, stress, nervous system dysregulation, and trauma recovery.

You’ll be supported in a safe, inclusive space where the focus is on slowing down and reconnecting. Most attendees include people navigating anxiety or stress, as well as support people, yoga practitioners, teachers, and curious health professionals. Please note: This class isn’t individually tailored for pregnancy, complex physical needs, or injuries. If that applies to you, a quick check-in with your GP is recommended before attending 🩺

Can I bring my child? 👶🏽Children aged 10–17 are welcome with a parent or guardian. The session is designed for adults, so littler ones may find it hard to stay engaged. That said, I know as a mum how tough organising care can be — feel free to reach out if that’s tricky and we’ll do our best to support you 💗

What should I bring to the event? 🧺Wear comfy clothes, bring a water bottle, and maybe a cosy jumper in case the room gets cool. All props and journaling goodies will be provided. Just bring you 🧘🏽♀️✨
