Yogaventures is an indigenous-owned, female-powered yoga and wellness company based in Coolangatta. We're a small group of visionary women who share the passion of making the world a better place through the practice of yoga.

Our Story

Yogaventures was manifested from the dream that everyone has the opportunity to experience how yoga can change your life for the better. In early 2020 we opened our doors. Sadly 2-weeks after opening the COVID-19 pandemic struck and so began our colourful journey. Amidst ongoing lockdowns and border closures, we experienced many challenges, hardships and valuable lessons. We chose to use this time as an opportunity to adapt, pivot and continue to be of service by supporting our community with what we knew best (yoga) and we launched Yogaventures Online. Our online platform and community has flourished beyond our wildest dreams. It's our little reminder that there is beauty to be found in all life's tides.

Meet Emma

Our Founder

Emma Ceolin is a proud Indigenous Australian, new Mama, yoga teacher, serial entrepreneur and Founder of Yogaventures Group. Emma discovered yoga in 2013 as a therapy for anxiety and depression. It not only saved her life but changed it forever. In 2020 after completing a business degree, years of teaching, many travels, and at 9 months pregnant she opened the doors to Yogaventures Coolangatta.

Our Core Values

We believe in looking beyond the bottom line to include social, ethical and environmental indicators and values. Everything we do aligns with not just a financial impact but a human impact. Here’s what binds us.

Giving (Seva)

We are involved in many activities and events that promote social responsibility and opportunities for people around the world which include our Indigenous Program, COVID Program, Puppy Yoga, Karma Yoga Classes, Forever Young Healing Program and Salvation Army Christmas Gift Appeal.

Community (Sangha)

We believe in the power of wholesome community. We passionately cultivate an environment of inclusivity, acceptance and compassion. Our community often share over tea chats just how much our studio feels like home — a place they can show up to no matter where they are in life.

Environment (Saucha)

By making eco choices, we support the Earth and feel that much more grounded and connected to it. We honour the environmentally sustainable movement with: renewable-based energy, flooring made from recycled materials, sustainable yoga mats and props, paperless studio and booking system.
