This YOGAVENTURES Mexico Yoga Retreat in the coastal town of Tulum is one of those places. Here swaying palms line the Caribbean coastline and crystalline turquoise waters of the caribe lap up against the pristine white sand surrunded by the lush tropical jungle. A place where you can practice twice-daily yoga at dawn and dusk, savour three delicious meals a day, visit the eponymous thirteenth-century cliff side Tulum Mayan ruin, hang out on paradise beach, get pampered in the day spa, snorkel, enjoy a cheeky margarita, or dive into a natural limestone cenote pool. Sink your barefeet in the hot white sand every day, swim in the warm carribean water, wake up for the sunrise over the ocean and climb the watch tower in the evening to see the sunset over the lush jungle. This is your time to be generous to yourself. Know that you have the freedom to relax by the sea or join us on an adventure. Everything is optional, even the yoga!
A two-hour drive from the bustling and boisterous Cancun, Tulum is known for its laid-back eco vibe attracting yogis and wellness lovers from all over the world. Tulum’s spectacular coastline – with all its confectioner-sugar sands, jade-green water and balmy breezes –, diverse wildlife. and friendly locals makes it one of the top beaches in Mexico. Tulum, Mexico is located approximately 2 hrs south on the coast from Cancun. Famous for the spectacular mayan ruins located on the cliffs of Tulum, it is a relatively undiscovered Carribbean paradise with pristine beaches and clear tourquoise waters.
Located on the South Beach of Tulum, Mexico, just south of Cancun and hidden among the palm trees, cherished by the turquoise water of the Caribbean Ocean, Shambala Petit Hotel is a secret spot where minimal décor meets the Mayan Culture. It’s pristine environment with the magical help of the waves crashing onto the shore wash away the stress accumulated by the daily work routine. The property is beautifully situated, well run, and immaculately clean. Its small size creates an intimate nature allowing you to relax deeply, connecting with yourself, nature, and new found friends. This truly is a beautiful beach paradise that welcomes you like you’re coming home. All casitas are located on a large beach property. There are 10 cabanas in total, 8 with private bathrooms and 2 with shared bathrooms. The ten casitas are all different; however, most of them open out onto the beach, and all of them are made with love. Each casita is equipped with a ceiling fan, mosquito net, bathroom towels and beach towels. Wireless internet is available if you would like to bring your own laptop; however, we do recommend you try and unplug for your week with us. All casitas are Double Occupancy.
This retreat includes daily yoga and meditation practices within steps from the Turquoise waters of the Caribbean Ocean. . This will include energising flows, grounding yin yoga, myofascial release therapy and wellness workshops to deepen your understanding and broaden your yoga knowledge. During this week you’ll be able to deeply drop into your practice and soak up the tranquil environment around you.
It's our mission to offer high-quality yoga accessible for absolutely everyone of all backgrounds and body types. With that in mind, we bring along all the yoga props to make this experience as enjoyable as possible for you. We provide yoga blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets, small trigger balls and large trigger balls. You just have to bring along your trusty yoga mat!

Your guide for this retreat will be Emma Ceolin, yoga teacher and founder of YOGAVENTURES. Emma's an internationally accredited yoga teacher (RYT®500, E-RYT®200, RPYT®, RCYT®, YACEP®) with over 1000hrs yoga teacher training and experience teaching classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings around the globe. She's also a skydiver, freediver, scubadiver, surfer, vegan, uni student, entrepreneur and all round life enthusiast! Emma first found yoga as a therapy for anxiety and depression and it set her on a wellness journey that changed her life. Her mission is to share yoga as a path to health, healing and happiness. Her teachings are based around the 'do what feels good' method. Leave her classes feeling more grounded, connected and more aligned with what it is you actually seek.
